Commuters face extended travel times on Copenhagen's S-train network Tuesday morning. The trains that blocked traffic have been removed, but delays continue across all lines.

DSB, Denmark's state railway company, announced the disruptions on its website. The delays stem from S-trains blocking traffic at Svanemøllen station and between Østerport and Nørreport stations.

Rail officials confirm the blocking trains have been cleared. However, all S-train routes continue experiencing delays during the morning commute.

DSB has not specified the extent of the delays. The company also hasn't provided an estimated time for when normal service will resume.

The cause behind the trains blocking traffic remains unexplained. DSB's press office urges passengers to check their Journey Planner before traveling.

Travelers delayed by more than 30 minutes can claim compensation under DSB's travel time guarantee. This allows passengers to seek refunds for their tickets.

Rail operators frequently face criticism for inadequate communication during service disruptions. Tuesday's incident shows passengers once again left without clear explanations about widespread delays affecting Copenhagen's vital commuter network.
