Signal problems have caused major disruptions to Copenhagen's S-train services during morning rush hour. Commuters face cancellations and irregular schedules across multiple lines.
The issue affects lines A, B, Bx, C, and E. Line Bx has been completely canceled, while Line H is not running at all.
Line A now operates between Hundige and Farum every 20 minutes. Line E follows the same reduced schedule between Køge and Hillerød.
Transport officials say all affected lines are running irregularly with delays. They expect to provide an update around 9:30 AM local time.
This signal failure highlights the vulnerability of Copenhagen's public transport system during peak hours. Commuters now face extended travel times and crowded platforms during the busy morning period.
