Fortunately, the woman remained suspicious throughout the conversation. She then got transferred to a supposed IT department. Both callers pressed her for personal financial information. She refused to provide any details and they hung up. The woman immediately contacted her actual bank. Bank officials confirmed no money had been withdrawn from her accounts.
