He said he would buy a new car to avoid changing the oil every other month, and would treat himself to half a bottle of cola. A 56-year-old woman from Kviteseid was at a 50th birthday party when she got the call. She moved to another room to be alone. "I think you're crazy!" she shouted when the win was revealed. "My God, that's huge. I just woke up," she said. She plans to put the prize in her bank account and share it with her children. A woman from Bærum had saved Norsk Tipping's winner number as "Too good to be true" and had already seen a "high prize" notice in the app. "This is insanely fun. We weren't completely sure it was true," she said. She and her husband plan to spend on hobbies and house repairs, and have already opened champagne and given the dog candy. A 44-year-old woman from Bokn was at her cabin with her husband when Norsk Tipping called. She had checked the results, she said. The couple plans to travel to Syden and give extra nice gifts to their children. She will call her mother, who has played the same Lotto numbers for 40 years. A man from Oslo was the Joker candidate and won 4,155,000 kroner on top of an 831,000 kroner entrance prize. "It was absolutely fantastic," he said. "It almost didn't get exciting." He had let Embla make the up and down choices, and the Joker appeared behind the first number.
