Härmä Spa in Finland opens its new luxury section called Paanu Relax Spa on Friday, October 31. The facility represents a major investment of approximately two million euros in renovations.
The new spa area features steam and aroma saunas alongside relaxation pools. Visitors can also enjoy a yoga sauna and cold water therapy pool.
A unique detail includes a pine tree arching over the hot tub that delivers warm summer rain when activated by a button. The spa's CEO Jan-Erik Hagforskor described this feature in a statement.
This summer proved successful for the spa, with autumn and the upcoming holiday season also looking promising. Beyond the spa renovation, the facility will reopen its reservation restaurant Banket with a new concept.
Paanu Relax Spa forms part of the spa's broader strategy to establish Härmä Spa as Finland's most attractive entertainment and event spa destination. The new section specifically targets adult couples seeking relaxation.
Guests will receive separate wristbands for Paanu. Children can visit during daytime hours, but evenings become adults-only quiet time.
The spa continues its recent investment streak, having already renovated 51 hotel rooms this year. All rooms will undergo renovation within the next two years, completing by 2028.
Restaurant development runs parallel to room upgrades, with current offerings already appealing strongly to couples and families.
The substantial investment suggests confidence in Finland's wellness tourism market, though maintaining premium positioning requires consistent service quality alongside new facilities.
