Northern Falster could become home to Denmark's largest data center facility. Guldborgsund Municipality has signed a conditional agreement to sell 35 hectares of land near Nørre Alslev to German company GARBE Data Centers. The deal represents the largest land transaction in the municipality's history and paves the way for investments reaching 20 billion Danish kroner.
The proposed data center would operate with a massive 350-megawatt capacity. This would make it not only Denmark's largest data center but also position it among Europe's biggest facilities.
