Norway's Police Security Service confirmed awareness of a planned neo-Nazi music festival in Romerike this November. Senior advisor Eirik Veum stated the agency maintains routine communication with local police about the event.
The two-day festival, titled "Alien Terminator Fest," will feature acoustic and metal performances. Multiple European bands with documented neo-Nazi affiliations appear on the lineup, including Azatro, Mistreat, Bärsäkarna, Likvann and Goatmahn.
Last year, police expelled over 100 alleged neo-nazists from a clubhouse in Øvre Romerike. Authorities also stopped a German Nazi rapper at Berlin airport while en route to what police described as a similar event in Norway.
The Anti-Racist Center identified festival organizers as having ties to Blood & Honour. This international network maintains connections to right-wing extremist terrorism according to security experts.
Sofia Rana, the center's advisor on right-wing extremism, characterized the event as more than typical cultural programming. "This represents an attempt to strengthen violent, far-right environments in Norway," Rana explained.
Protest demonstrations will occur in Oslo on Friday, November 14 and in Jessheim on Saturday, November 15. Romerike residents have previously mobilized against similar extremist gatherings in the region.
Norwegian authorities face ongoing challenges balancing free expression with preventing extremist recruitment. Music festivals with explicit political agendas test the boundaries of Norway's tolerant society while raising security concerns.
