Tallink Silja's Baltic Princess ferry will change its schedule on the Turku-Stockholm route. The ship will leave Turku 45 minutes earlier starting in early December. The company announced this change in a press release.

Customers requested the schedule adjustment, according to Tallink Silja. The ferry now departs Turku at 7:30 PM instead of 8:15 PM. This gives passengers more evening time during the 23-hour cruise.

The arrival time in Stockholm remains unchanged at 6:10 AM local time. The ship departs Stockholm for Finland at 7:00 AM. On the return journey, the ferry will stop at Långnäs instead of Mariehamn. This change affects travel to the Åland Islands.

Baltic Princess arrives in Turku 45 minutes earlier at 6:30 PM. The new schedule runs from December 1 to May 29, operating Wednesday through Sunday. This timing adjustment responds directly to passenger preferences for more evening leisure time. The change shows how ferry operators must adapt to shifting traveler habits in the competitive Baltic Sea route market.

What does this mean for cruise passengers? They gain nearly an extra hour for evening activities aboard ship. The schedule shift could make the Turku-Stockholm route more appealing for short getaways.
