Police deployed large forces to a high school in Romerike, a region northeast of Oslo. A student suffered injuries and required ambulance transport to Ullevål University Hospital. Authorities report the student may have serious injuries but is over 18 years old.
Operations leader Kjetil Elnan Ringseth confirmed the incident has concluded. He stated there is no ongoing violence at the school currently.
School staff initially alerted police about the situation. Officers now have three suspects under control, all of whom are students at the same school.
This marks the second police response to fights at this school this week, with authorities also attending a separate altercation on Monday. Investigators are examining potential connections between these two events.
