Norwegian police in Vest reported multiple incidents over the weekend involving intoxicated individuals and public disturbances. One driver, a man in his 50s, was involved in a single-vehicle crash around 1 a.m. in Lærdal. His car hit a guardrail on icy roads, causing damage. The driver complained of neck and arm pain and was taken by ambulance to Lærdal Hospital. Meanwhile, five men arrested Friday night in central Bergen for serious drug offenses were released from custody. Authorities said there was no risk of evidence tampering or repeat offenses. Three have been interviewed, one refused questioning. Police also responded to a chaotic house party in Rådal, where 30 to 40 unfamiliar youths showed up uninvited. The gathering led to property damage and indoor urination. Officers dispersed the crowd and contacted parents. Elsewhere, a woman in her 50s bit a male employee at the Hulen nightclub in Møhlenpris but didn’t break the skin. She was removed from the venue. Police are also seeking tips about a black 2010 Toyota Verso seen near Arna on February 8 between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. as part of a murder investigation.
