Alm. Brand posted an insurance result of 755 million kroner in the third quarter and signalled a round of layoffs, borsen.dk reported.
Berlingske reported that the company called the result its highest to date.
The quarterly report was sent out Wednesday morning. Insurance income ended at more than three billion kroner. Expenses for claims and operations ended at around 1.7 billion kroner, 165 million kroner less than in the same period the previous year.
Brand ended the third quarter with a net profit after tax of 397 million kroner. Borsen.dk reported that the insurance result rose from 535 million kroner in the same period last year.
Earlier in October, the company upgraded its expectations for 2026, with mild weather part of the explanation, according to borsen.dk.
