A 65-year-old man appears at Randers District Court at 9:30 for a custody hearing, charged with rape, incest and indecent conduct against his daughter over a period from 2012 to 2014, the Public Prosecution Office at East Jutland Police said, according to Danish Police.
The man was arrested at his home on Tuesday at 10:00. The case was recently reopened after new information emerged in connection with recordings for a TV programme.
Prosecutors have asked for the hearing to be held behind closed doors. East Jutland Police said they have no further information for now.
Separately, a 26-year-old man appears at Aarhus District Court at 12:00. He was arrested shortly after midnight by a dog patrol in Mårslet, after a report that an offender had tried to break into a villa on Præstegårdsvej by smashing a window. He is charged over the night's incident and with two other burglaries on other days that investigators believe they can link him to.
Prosecutors requested closed doors because accomplices are still at large.
At Aarhus District Court, a 34-year-old man was remanded in custody for two weeks and a 29-year-old man for four weeks. Two Colombian women were both remanded for four weeks with a view to deportation, and the ruling was not appealed.
