A masked man threatened a cashier with a knife at a Rema 1000 supermarket on Sundvej in Horsens Friday evening. According to Mathias Møller, duty chief at Sydøstjyllands Police, the suspect demanded cash from the register. The knife used in the robbery was approximately 20 centimeters long.
Police received the report at 9:24 p.m., just minutes after the incident occurred. The suspect fled north from the store and escaped with a significant amount of cash. Officers responded quickly, deploying patrols and police dogs, but have not yet located the individual.
Authorities are now appealing to the public for help. The suspect is described as Danish-speaking, between 20 and 30 years old, and 170 to 185 centimeters tall. He has a sturdy build, light skin, and a large, broad nose. During the robbery, he wore a black balaclava or neck gaiter that left only his eyes visible. His clothing included a black jacket with a red logo, a gray hoodie, gray jogging pants, black shoes, and he carried a Netto shopping bag in one hand along with the knife.
