Authorities in North Jutland are still searching for 51-year-old Samuel Andres Alvarado Rios. He was last seen at a Rema 1000 grocery store in Aalborg's central Godsbanen area on October 12 during the late afternoon.
Police confirmed he walked eastbound on Jyllandsgade street after his shopping trip. He was heading toward the Karolinelund park area around 5:05 PM.
The police commissioner made a public appeal on Saturday. "We urge all Aalborg residents with surveillance cameras to check footage from 5 PM to 9 PM on October 12," he said in a statement. This request applies to both private homes and businesses.
Officials also asked people to check their gardens and tool sheds. The missing man wore a light purple hooded sweater and sunglasses in store footage. He carried a six-pack of beverages purchased at the supermarket.
Local police have circulated his photograph since Wednesday. Anyone with information should contact authorities at 114.
Aalborg is Denmark's fourth-largest city, located in northern Jutland. The ongoing investigation shows how quickly someone can disappear despite urban surveillance systems.
