Police were called at around 2 pm on 26 October to a company outside Taberg, south of Jönköping, after a suspected explosion at the site.

Mats Pettersson, a press spokesperson for the police, said officers were working at the location. "We are on site right now, but it appears to be a planned smaller blasting that went wrong," he said. In a second comment to SVT, Pettersson said the picture remained unclear.

"Right now, it is very unclear what has happened," he said.

According to the first reports, the property has suffered some damage, but no one is reported to have been injured.

Representatives of the company said a blasting job had been carried out nearby and that stones flew through the air in connection with it and damaged vehicles at the site. SVT published the report at 14:31 and updated it at 14:35.
