A 21-year-old man was sentenced to 10 months of unconditional prison at Holstebro District Court on 26 October 2026 for several cases of aggravated assault and assault committed in nightlife in Thisted, the prosecution at Midt- og Vestjyllands Politi said. He was also banned from taking part in nightlife, according to Danish Police.
The 21-year-old, who had been held in pre-trial detention, was released after the verdict. He asked for time to consider an appeal.
At Herning District Court, a 28-year-old man was convicted of raping a female acquaintance in the summer of 2022 at their home in Ikast and of filming the sexual act. He was also convicted of assault. He had previously been convicted of rape and was sentenced to indefinite detention.
He appealed the verdict and was remanded in custody after it.
At Viborg District Court, a 27-year-old woman was sentenced to one year of unconditional prison for robbery and violence against people in public service, among other charges. She accepted the verdict.
At Herning District Court, a 68-year-old man was remanded in custody for four weeks for possessing a large quantity of cocaine, hash and heroin in his room at Udrejsecenter Kærshovedgård. He admitted the possession but denied intent to pass it on.
