The Court in Herning has sentenced a 28-year-old man to forvaring, or preventive detention, for raping a female acquaintance at their home in Ikast in the summer of 2022 and filming the sexual act, according to Danish Police.
He was also convicted of a violence offence. The man had previously been convicted of rape, the prosecution authority at Midt- og Vestjyllands Politi said. He appealed the verdict for acquittal on the spot and was remanded in custody after the ruling.
In a separate case at the Court in Viborg, a 27-year-old woman was sentenced to one year of unconditional imprisonment for robbery and violence against persons in public service, among other charges. She accepted the verdict.
A 68-year-old man was remanded in custody for four weeks at the Court in Herning for possessing a large quantity of cocaine, hash and heroin in his room at Udrejsecenter Kærshovedgård.
