A passenger car has caught fire on the E6 near Flädie in Lomma municipality, police wrote on their website. Traffic is affected in both directions, according to Expressen.
The road is completely closed in the northbound direction. Police are on site to redirect traffic, and rescue services are working to extinguish the car fire. A tow truck has been summoned and the road has been closed while the rescue work is under way.
The alarm came at around 15:40 on Monday. "The car is completely engulfed in flames," said Ola Nilsson, press duty officer at SOS Alarm. There are no reports of personal injuries in connection with the incident.
