A 28-year-old man was sentenced to detention at the Court in Herning for raping a female acquaintance in the summer of 2022 at their home in Ikast and filming the sexual act, Danish police prosecution services said. He was also convicted of violence, had a previous rape conviction, appealed for immediate acquittal and was remanded after the verdict, according to Danish Police.
Herning: A 16-year-old boy was brought before the court at 11:45 charged with qualified violence with a knife in central Herning on 19 August. A 43-year-old man was remanded in custody for four weeks over several counts of violence and threats against a person in public service, and appealed the ruling.
Randers: A 65-year-old man faced a preliminary hearing charged with rape, incest and indecent exposure against his daughter between 2012 and 2014. He was arrested at his home on Tuesday at 10:00. The case was recently reopened after new information emerged in connection with recordings for a TV programme, and the prosecution asked for closed doors.
Kolding: Two Romanian citizens, aged 25 and 26, were remanded in custody until 10 November on suspicion of burglary and attempted burglary at a care home in Fredericia. The hearing was held behind closed doors. A 36-year-old man charged with 10 counts of theft, robbery and threats against public officials was remanded until 20 November.
Horsens and Viborg: A 27-year-old man from Horsens was sentenced to one year for selling drugs in Horsens on 11 June 2026 and for a pepper spray offence. A 34-year-old woman was sentenced at the Court in Viborg to three years for possession of about 721.38 grams of amphetamine intended for onward transfer and for violence against a public servant. A 25-year-old man received two years and six months for about 445.65 grams of cocaine, 223.96 grams of amphetamine and 1.3 kg of hashish.
Sønderjylland: Police recorded 26 storm-related incidents, mainly fallen trees, with no injuries reported. At a speed check on Kirkegade in Oksbøl, 53 of 1,056 drivers exceeded the limit, the highest at 77 km/h. An 81-year-old man was charged with reckless driving after reports of a car driving south in the northbound lane near Tinglev.
