A 44-year-old woman is in critical condition after a traffic accident on the Sønderjyske Motorvej M50 near Kolding, Southeast Jutland Police said. Her relatives have been notified.
The road is expected to reopen within 30 minutes, police said in an update at 11:11 CET. A car inspector is still examining the accident, and police said they had no further information.
Earlier, police and rescue crews were at the scene in the northbound direction. Police advised drivers to use alternative routes and said they had no estimate for how long the response would last.
According to preliminary investigations, a truck driver lost control of the vehicle. The truck was heading south when it ended up on the northbound side and overturned. Three other vehicles were involved.
The truck driver was not injured. One person was taken for examination, and the others were unharmed.
