A police patrol felt threatened by anger and aggression while responding to a public disturbance in central Oslo. Officers had been called to Pløens street following reports of a physical altercation between several individuals.
When police arrived at the scene, the patrol reported being disrupted and prevented from doing their work. A large crowd directed anger and aggression toward our officers on site, according to the operations leader. Multiple backup patrols quickly arrived to assist.
Police described the situation as chaotic. Officers had to manage a large number of people at the location. Four individuals were eventually arrested and transported to custody.
