Aftonbladet reported extensive disruptions to Stockholm's commuter trains. Stockholm's commuter train traffic is facing major problems early on Thursday morning, SL reported, according to Expressen.
The problem is a switch fault that is causing extensive delays, and trains are not stopping at several important junctions, according to SL. The problem arose between the commuter train stations Sundbyberg and Stockholm Odenplan, SL wrote on its website. Traffic on line 43 has been rerouted to Stockholm central station, and the trains will not pass Stockholm Odenplan, Stockholms södra or Årstaberg.
At the same time, all trains with Handen as their starting and ending station have been cancelled entirely. There is no forecast for when traffic can run according to timetable again, Trafikredaktionen at Sveriges Radio reported.
