Cabin Burns Down in Steinkjer Fire

A cabin burned completely to the ground in Beistad, Steinkjer. The fire started early in the morning. Passersby on their way to work spotted the flames and alerted emergency services. Police confirmed the cabin was nearly destroyed when firefighters arrived. Operations leader Viola Elvrum from the local police district said they contacted the cabin owner. Officials confirmed no one was inside the building at the time of the fire. The fire is now extinguished. Fire crews remain on site with a tanker truck and personnel.
