Three young men aged 18 died in one vehicle. They were Kenneth André Koch Sørensen, Audun Andreassen Hellebust, and Jonas Gabriel Kanstad Hansen. A married couple in their sixties died in the other car. Svein Johnny Jenssen (63) and Unni Eva Jenssen (59) were local residents.
Another woman traveling with the couple survived with critical injuries. Her condition remains serious but stable according to police officials. Lead investigator Jacob Bergh confirmed these details in a public statement.
Norwegian media reports suggested police were investigating possible street racing. But authorities have not confirmed any information about racing involvement. The investigation continues as police reconstruct the accident scene.
