According to Middle Eastern media reports, Hamas will release hostages if Israeli troops completely withdraw from Gaza. The group also suggests transferring Gaza's administration to Palestinian technocrats.
Hamas leaders signal readiness to immediately negotiate agreement details. Senior official Moussa Abu Marzouk says they will discuss all issues concerning movement and weapons.
"We will hand over weapons to the future Palestinian state," Marzouk stated. "Whoever governs Gaza will have weapons in their hands."
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas told official media that Palestine could hold general elections one year after a ceasefire begins.
