Police continue investigating a fatal hit-and-run incident in Silkeborg. A 44-year-old man from Aarhus was found dead on Nordskovvej road Saturday morning.
Officers believe a fleeing driver struck the man and left the scene. The incident was reported to police at 5:50 AM when medical responders were dispatched.
Police supervisor Jens Claumarch said in a statement that witnesses should still come forward. He confirmed the victim's relatives have been notified.
Authorities have closed the road between Frederiksberggade and Nordskovpassagen. Police dog units joined the investigation at the accident site.
