Police are investigating a suspected murder in Malmö after a man died from injuries sustained during a fight. The incident occurred on Wednesday evening near Stenkulaskolan in the southern Swedish city.
Officers responded to reports of a disturbance around 9 PM. They found a man in his 60s seriously injured. He had been walking his dog before the altercation with several younger individuals.
Emergency services transported the man to hospital by ambulance. Medical staff later confirmed he died from his injuries.
Police spokesperson Filip Annas described the scene. "When we arrived, no one remained in the area. But during our search we located an injured person," he said in a statement.
