Two Norwegian teens charged with planning serious crime
Two Norwegian teenagers face charges for allegedly planning serious criminal acts. Police seized electronic devices and are investigating potential connections to criminal networks. Both suspects deny the accusations against them.

Two teenage boys aged 16 and 17 have been arrested and charged with conspiracy to endanger public safety. Police believe the boys made an agreement to commit a serious criminal offense elsewhere in Norway.
The arrests took place Wednesday in the Haugaland region of western Norway. Both teenagers are local residents from Haugaland and Sunnhordland areas.
Police prosecutor Else Lokna said the agreement between the teens was made 2-3 weeks ago. She declined to specify when the planned criminal acts were supposed to occur or what specific crimes were involved.
Both teenagers deny any guilt and reject that they were part of any agreement, according to their lawyers. The 16-year-old's defense attorney said his client doesn't understand the accusations against him.
Police have seized electronic devices and are currently reviewing them as part of their investigation. Authorities are examining whether the teens are connected to criminal networks.
Prosecutors requested two weeks of custody, but the court set detention at one week with restrictions on mail and visits due to concerns about evidence tampering.
A central purpose of the investigation is to determine if the suspects are part of a criminal network. Police cannot rule out additional arrests in the case.
The case highlights ongoing concerns about youth involvement in serious criminal activities in Norway, particularly as police investigate potential network connections.
