Police in North Jutland maintain their search for 76-year-old Hanne, who disappeared from her home near Aars. She left her residence in Vognsild on Sunday evening and hasn't been seen since.
Authorities temporarily suspended the search overnight but resumed efforts at daybreak. The search focuses on rural areas around several towns in Northern Denmark.
Vagtchef Jesper Sørensen from North Jutland Police said in a statement, "We remain interested in hearing from citizens who know her whereabouts." He urged local residents to check outbuildings, sheds, garages, and basements - particularly around Farsø, Aalestrup, Aars, and Gedsted.
Hanne stands 170 cm tall with tanned skin and dark shoulder-length hair. She was last seen wearing a white jacket, gray knitted sweater, and gray-green trousers.
Local disappearances of elderly residents often trigger extensive community responses in Denmark's close-knit rural areas. The prolonged search suggests genuine concern for her wellbeing in the changing autumn weather.
