Police in North Jutland issued a smoke warning Wednesday morning. A major fire erupted in an industrial building on Constantiavej in Frederikshavn, Denmark.
The emergency services responded with 11 vehicles and 31 firefighters. They also requested a rescue crane from the national emergency management agency.
Michael Mow, the police duty officer, said the fire started in a large microwave oven. The facility produces fish preserves and sandwich spreads.
Authorities urged residents nearby to close windows and stay indoors. The police received the alarm at 8:35 AM.
