A man attacked multiple people in Holmestrand city center. Police received reports about the assaults on Tuesday.
Operational leader Per Magne Eftang said the man targeted random individuals. "If you were nearby, you were in the wrong place at the wrong time," he stated.
The attacker tried to grab a girl walking her dog near water. Witnesses reacted quickly and prevented further violence. They restrained the man until police arrived at the scene.
Only one person required medical treatment. A man in his seventies went to hospital with facial injuries. Police have arrested the suspect and he now faces charges.
