Police have arrested three individuals following a violent incident at Rælingen Upper Secondary School in Norway. All three suspects face charges of serious bodily harm. Two of the accused are 19 years old, while the third suspect is 16.

The two older suspects will appear in custody hearings at Romerike and Glåmdal District Court on Wednesday afternoon. Prosecutors will request two weeks of pretrial detention for both suspects. The detention would include restrictions on mail and visits.

Police confirmed one suspect has been released. "Some of the accused will appear for detention hearings, while the third has been released," said police prosecutor Behreng Mirazei in a statement to local media.

Rælingen Upper Secondary School serves students in their final three years of Norwegian education, typically ages 16-19. School violence remains relatively rare in Norway, though this incident follows recent concerns about youth crime in the Oslo region.

The immediate police response and detention requests suggest authorities are treating this as a serious case. Norwegian courts typically require strong evidence of flight risk or repeated offenses to grant pretrial detention.
