The Ukrainian president again urged the United States and Europe to increase pressure on Russian President Vladimir Putin. He called for stronger sanctions and more advanced air defense systems.
Zelensky proposed that a unilateral ceasefire regarding airspace could open diplomatic channels. He suggested this approach might create opportunities for genuine peace talks.
The attacks come as Ukraine faces ammunition shortages and delayed Western military aid. Russia appears to be testing Ukrainian air defenses while Western support faces political delays.
