Plane Makes Emergency Landing at Gothenburg Airport
A passenger flight from Manchester to Oslo made an emergency landing at Gothenburg's Landvetter Airport. The landing was prompted by faulty airspeed indicators and low fuel warnings. All passengers landed safely with emergency services responding immediately.

A passenger plane made an emergency landing at Landvetter Airport in Gothenburg on Tuesday. The aircraft was traveling from Manchester, UK to Oslo-Torp Airport in Sandefjord, Norway.
Rescue leader Anders Lännholm confirmed the successful landing. "They landed safely and everything went well," he said in a statement. "Emergency services and ambulances are currently at the airport."
The emergency landing occurred due to faulty airspeed indicators. The crew also reported reaching minimum fuel levels before landing.
Landvetter Airport serves as Gothenburg's main international airport and is Sweden's second-largest air travel hub. Oslo-Torp is a smaller regional airport located about 100 kilometers south of Norway's capital.
Emergency landings due to instrument failure highlight the importance of regular aircraft maintenance. Such incidents, while rare, demonstrate why pilots train extensively for equipment malfunctions.
